I’m a driven and ambitious student passionate about technology, engineering, and project-based learning. Currently, I’m in my senior year at METU Private High School, where I’ve been studying with an academic scholarship. I’ve actively participated in a variety of academic and extracurricular projects, including robotics competitions, entrepreneurship programs, and scientific research and music camps and as an volunteer in Turkish Red Crescent, TEMA Foundation, and LIONS Club.

Some of my key achievements include:

SAT: Scored 1510 (790 Math, 720 English)

AP Exams: Scored 5 in Calculus BC, 4 in Statistics

TEKNOFEST 2024 Turkey Winner: Successfully led my team to the finals, overseeing both technical development and social media outreach
TEKNOFEST is Turkey's largest technology and aviation festival, held annually, bringing together young people, entrepreneurs, engineers, and scientists who are interested in technology. Awarded the prestigious title of Turkey National Winner in the Technology for Humanity Competition Health and First Aid Category out of 760,000 projects.

FRC Robotics Competitions: Developed teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills while competing in high-stakes robotics challenges

Founder - Saccharum.co

As the Founder and Public Relations Manager at Saccharum.co, I spearhead efforts to raise awareness and promote our groundbreaking specialized insoles for individuals with diabetes and rheumatology conditions. Our innovative insoles, equipped with integrated thermometers and tens devices, serve as crucial early diagnosis aids, detecting foot wounds in diabetic patients before they escalate. Through strategic communication and engagement initiatives, I amplify our mission to prevent amputations by ensuring these wounds do not go unnoticed. Join us in revolutionizing foot care and making a tangible difference in people's lives.

MECHANICAL DESIGNER - CARTESIAN ROBOTICS

I am a part of the Mechanics department, responsible of designing our self-made FIRST Robotics Competition robot using SolidWorks, Fusion360 and Onshape. During the three years in this team I had the opportunity to work closely with other members from the mechanics, programming and electronic departments of the team. In 2022 despite having financial and other challenges, we were fairly successful in the tournament, taking the Winner's trophy among other awards in our rookie season, becoming the 5th rookie winner in the world. In 2023 the culmination of our work carried us to finish 11th, getting eliminated in the semifinals.

Since July 2023, I have become a mentor of the Mechanics Department. I've been helping with the member selection and Summer Training Programs, where we intend to make students fall in love with the world of STEM. I am entitled to assign design projects to the new mechanics department prospects to get them familiar with 3D design programs.

CREATOR - CMONYOUTUBE.COM

As the creator of cmonyoutube.com, I developed an innovative platform that enables hands-free control of YouTube videos using gestures, head movements, and voice commands. Inspired by my own struggles as a guitarist, I designed the platform to cater to multitaskers engaging in activities such as cooking, repairing, and practicing music. By integrating TensorFlow.js, the platform accurately detects hand gestures and dynamically interacts with videos through a custom HTML Canvas overlay.

Key features include simultaneous control of multiple videos, ideal for musicians managing tutorials and backing tracks, and local storage for previously played videos, allowing users to resume content effortlessly. Users can also share videos with friends and enable gesture controls simply by appending "cmon" to YouTube URLs, transforming the video into a gesture-controlled experience. Designed with accessibility in mind, the platform is inclusive for individuals with colorblindness and those unable to physically interact with screens.

KARTING PILOT - BASKENT UNIVERSITY

I was always a huge Motorsport fan since I was a kid. I would usually spend most of my time at my local karting track. Since August of 2023, I've joined a motorsport organisation of a University in my city. Since then, I've been participating in karting races frequently. I would love to join FSAE in University to bring in my experience as both a karting driver and a licenced SolidWorks Designer.
